Farmers Packs
Most Malawian families are too poor to pay commercial rates for fertiliser and seeds. DWT provides farmers packs to support them build self-sustainability.
The plan for this year’s farmer’s packs is to provide families with:
- 50kg fertilizer of NPK
- 50kg urea
- 5kg hybrid seed of maize
- 1kg legume
- 1 bottle of pesticide
Total project cost: £100 per pack
